"What lies behind us and what lies before us are small matters compared to what lies within us.
- Ralph Waldo Emerson
I have enjoyed working in the mental health and behavioral health fields for over 13 years. I completed my Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychological and Social Science from The Pennsylvania State University and my Master of Science Degree in Counseling Psychology from Holy Family University. I began my career working in behavioral health where I obtained my License as a Behavior Specialist working with children and families in both behavior modification and play therapy techniques for treatment of mood-related disorders, ADHD, and Autism. Additionally, I obtained my License as a Professional Counselor while working in outpatient therapy settings and I became recognized as a National Certified Counselor using cognitive behavioral therapy and mindfulness-based stress reduction to provide treatment for issues relating to trauma, stress, anxiety, depression, anger, grief, and adjustment with children, teens, adults, couples, and families.
My name is Danielle Donovan and I'm so excited to begin this therapeutic journey with you! I currently work full-time as a School Counselor and I have eight years of experience working in the mental and behavioral health fields. I went to The Catholic University of America, where I obtained my bachelor's degree in psychology, and Holy Family University, where I obtained my Master of Science in Counseling Psychology with a School Counseling concentration. Recently, I proudly accomplished obtaining my License as a Professional Counselor. I utilize cognitive behavioral therapy to empower individuals with whom I work to better understand their thinking patterns and to believe in their ability to overcome hardships and experiences relating to anxiety, anger, depression, trauma, life changes, ODD, ADHD, and Autism. Additionally, I enjoy implementing play therapy for children and adolescents to feel they can be honest and receptive in an approachable, engaging way.
I have had the privilege of helping people in the counseling field since 2015! I completed my Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Drexel University in 2017 and I earned my Master of Science in Counseling Psychology with a concentration in School Counseling from Holy Family University in 2020. I work full-time as a school and college counselor and obtained my License as a Professional Counselor while doing so. I utilize cognitive behavioral therapy and motivational interviewing techniques to empower individuals to understand themselves and to achieve their goals by overcoming anxiety, depression, stress, life changes, and difficulty making decisions. I enjoy facilitating sessions for adolescents and young adults so that we can collaborate together for me to warmly provide goal setting, direct feedback, and flexibility in sessions to best support your needs and wellbeing.
It’s nice to meet you! I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and I graduated from West Chester University with my bachelor’s degree in social work in 2016 and my master’s degree in social work in 2019. I’ve provided care in behavioral health as a mobile therapist helping individuals, families, children, and adolescents to treat Autism, ADHD, ODD, depression, and anxiety. Currently, I work full-time in intensive autistic support and transition age (18-21) classrooms supporting case management, crisis intervention, post-21 planning, and counseling. I enjoy working with people from all walks of life; to learn where you’ve been, where you currently are, and where you want to go. I uniquely and compassionately use cognitive behavioral therapy, narrative therapy, and behavioral therapy to help you make the changes you want in your life. Together we’ll use a solution-focused approach in a safe, non-judgmental space to create your goals and to support you in accomplishing them!
Hi! I’m Lauren and I've worked in the mental and behavioral health fields for over 7 years. I received my bachelor’s degree in psychology from Bryn Athyn College and my Master of Science in Counseling Psychology in 2020 from Holy Family University. I currently work as a certified school counselor and as a licensed professional counselor. I have experience working as a behavioral specialist and mobile therapist with children, individuals, and families. I use cognitive behavioral therapy, behavioral therapy, and play therapy to help you overcome challenges from anxiety, depression, anger, Autism, ODD, ADHD, impulse control, and stress. I use these strategies to help you navigate and prepare for daily life by instilling the tools you need to be successful and thrive! I’m looking forward to working with you in a warm, welcoming environment to create goals and solutions together!
I received my MA in Counseling Psychology from Arcadia University and hold post-master’s certificates in Trauma and Post Traumatic Stress Management. I made a career change from marketing 11 years ago to support students navigate young adulthood, and families impacted by substance use disorder. My clinical work also includes supporting grieving children, teens and their adult caregivers as well as individuals with Autism. Through my personal grief journey, I came to understand that loss is not something you just get over. It’s something that happens to you and changes you forever. I've had the privilege of witnessing healing start when support is given that allows you time and space to actively grieve; nurture and sustain your wellbeing. By using mindfulness, cognitive, and somatic therapies, we'll slowly notice how your body is reacting to pain, sorrow, anxiety, anger, guilt, and other challenging emotions. Then we'll respond intentionally with informed practices. What I call untangling the knots. Life, as hard as it can be, doesn't have to stay that way. We all have the capacity to untangle our knots and move forward intentionally with help. I'm here to help.
